Lauren Nutall
REPORTING FELLOW
Lauren Nutall is an investigative reporter with a passion for covering issues that impact marginalized and vulnerable communities. She is pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Howard University, where she is majoring in journalism and minoring in international affairs.
Nutall is an investigative reporter at Howard’s student newspaper, The Hilltop, and she has worked at Howard University’s News Service. In summer 2026, she will be interning at the Dallas Morning News through the Ida B. Wells Society for Investigative Reporting Fellowship Program.
Nutall is a 2023 Washington Media fellow and a 2023 National Geographic/UNCF Enhanced Scholar. She has previously worked with Black Enterprise as a freelance writer and interned at CBS News in its investigative unit.
