Livia Martinez
W&M REPORTING FELLOW
Livia Martinez is a senior at William & Mary, studying communications and media management with a minor in psychology. Her passion for storytelling stems from her parents, who are both journalists.
On campus, Martinez has been president of The Film Society, digital editor of Rocket Magazine and The Flat Hat Magazine, and undersecretary of outreach for Student Assembly. She was also a Freeman Fellow.
During summer 2023, she lived in the Philippines, where she worked as a communications and media consultant at the Philippine Social Science Council. She works as a digital media intern for Tribe Athletics, and she completed a film publicity internship at A24.
After graduation, Martinez hopes to work in the film industry and create impactful stories with widespread reach.
