Marco Valenza

GRANTEE

Marco Valenza is a freelance researcher with a deep interest in education, migration, and private sector development in West Africa. 

Valenza has supported leading international organizations, such as UNICEF, the World Bank, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in carrying out research and monitoring and evaluating tasks to make evidence-driven programmatic decisions. Having previously trained as an economist at Bocconi University, Valenza graduated in Development Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

With over eight years of experience living and working in West Africa, Valenza is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of the region's cultural and socio-economic landscape. He is currently based in Dakar, Senegal.
