Nathaniel Brown

Nathaniel Brown is an filmmaker and photographer making work about place, belonging and community. Born in Australia and raised in the United States, he is a Fulbright scholar, fluent in Chinese, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middlebury College. His work has been featured in Vice, Vogue, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Nowness, Dazed, CNN, and the South China Morning Post and screened at a range of festivals including DOC NYC, Hawaii IFF and Big Sky. Most recently, he was the cinematographer for Eyesteelfilm's "Big Fight In Little Chinatown," and directed award-winning shorts "Leleb" and "Mahålang." With more than a decade of experience working across Asia, he is currently based between New York and Taipei.
