Paola Martínez Gutiérrez

Paola Martínez Gutiérrez is a freelance journalist and photographer focused on human rights, the environment, science, and art. Her stories have appeared in Mexican media outlets such as Reforma newspaper, Pie de Página, La Desvelada, and the NGO PODER.
She was a news anchor and producer at AMX Noticias, a local TV and radio broadcaster in the State of Mexico, where she is based. In 2022, her coverage on LGBTQ marriage was featured in Google’s campaign "Year in Search."
She has also worked as a narrator and podcast producer with the Mexican Society at the University of Oxford and Kizaya media, focused on science communication. She wants to pursue a career in documentary filmmaking.
