Rafael Acuña

Rafael Acuña is a journalist who covers Indigenous peoples and the environment. In his two decades working in media, he has contributed to both local and national outlets in Bolivia, such as Red ATB and PAT news. He has collaborated with international media both as a reporter and fixer.

He is director of Ecuanasha Televisión, a local media outlet based in Rurrenabaque. He founded it with Esmeralda Cartagena, an Indigenous Tacana communicator. He is also a contributor to the digital magazine La Brava.
