Ritwika Mitra

Ritwika Mitra is an independent journalist based out of New Delhi. She reports on food security, caste, climate change, early childhood, and gender-based violence from across India. Her bylines have appeared in Waging Nonviolence, Open Democracy, The Fuller Project, Article14, 101Reporters, NewsClick, BehanBox, The Indian Express, The New Indian Express, and Deccan Herald. In 2016, she was awarded the Chevening Scholarship to pursue a master's degree in International Relations from the University of Birmingham.
