Ryan Jones

Ryan is a freelance photographer based in Jacksonville, Fla., and currently completing an Interdisciplinary Ecology master's degree at the University of Florida School of Natural Resources and Environment with a focus on wildlife conservation. With a background rooted in journalism and a passion for the environment, he works to bring the two together through his research, photography, and storytelling. Most recently, Ryan served as a visual communications specialist for the UF College of Journalism and Communications. During that time he also developed and helped lead an award-winning multimedia reporting project for some of the College's students in Cuba. His work has also been published by various news outlets across the country, including ESPN, The Washington Post, and The Weather Channel.
