So Hyun Park

So Hyun Park is a Master of Science in Public Health candidate at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, specializing in women’s sexual and reproductive health. Her work focuses on migration, gender-based violence, and human rights in humanitarian settings. She works closely with a survivor-led organization advocating for the rights of North Korean women called Rights for Female North Koreans (RFNK). As a Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow, she will document the hidden migration journeys of North Korean women who flee to China, investigating issues of human trafficking, forced marriage, and forced repatriation.
