AMAZON RJF GRANTEE
Hailing from Manaus (Amazonas), Tainá Aragão studied journalism at the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR) and the University of Brasília (UnB). She also studied documentary cinema at the Universidad de la Habana (Cuba).
Aragão lives between Brasília (Federal District) and Santarém (Pará).
Her work focuses mainly on socio-environmental issues, territorial rights, climate change, major infrastructure projects, and traditional peoples in the Brazilian Amazon.
