Tim Evans

Tim Evans is a freelance documentary photographer based in Minneapolis. 

He's extensively documented contemporary social, ecological, and political stories, including the racial justice movement in Minneapolis after the 2020 police murder of George Floyd—a body of work for which he was named the International Photography Awards Emerging Editorial/Press Photographer of the Year, as well as a Lucie Awards Discovery of the Year finalist. 

His work has been featured in dozens of domestic and international publications, including Reuters, Bloomberg News, The Guardian, The New York Times, The Nation magazine, Mother Jones, The Washington Post, MPR News, Atmos magazine, VICE News, Mpls. St.Paul magazine, Toronto Star, and others.
