Yetlaneci Alcaraz

Yetlaneci Alcaraz is a freelance journalist based in Berlin. She studied journalism at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). She was a reporter for the Mexican newspaper El Universal and a correspondent 2011-2020 for Proceso magazine in Germany.
In 2008, Alcaraz was a grantee in Berlin for the International Journalists' Programmes (IJP). She specializes in history, migration, and environmental issues and is co-founder of Underground Periodismo Internacional, a Spanish-language platform that provides international reports, interviews, and stories.
