Antigone Barton

Antigone Barton is a free-lance journalist who spent 10 years covering health, justice and environment issues for the Palm Beach Post in South Florida. During the last seven years she has written extensively about the AIDS epidemic in the US and abroad. A former teacher, she spent a year in Zambia as a Knight Health Journalism fellow through the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), working with journalists there to develop in-depth health reporting. She has spent the last year at Harvard University where she studied global health research and ethics as a Nieman Journalism Fellow.
