Mary Nance

PULITZER CENTER ALUM

Mary Nance was formerly an education intern at the Pulitzer Center. 

Nance is a graduate of North Carolina State University, where she received a Master of Arts in Teaching. She is a public education advocate interested in learning how to eliminate racial disparities in the public school system and connecting students to real-world issues through culturally relevant instruction. Nance was born and raised in North Carolina. She holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After her internship, Nance hopes to teach high school social studies.
