“We should not be complacent. The effort to protect the forest from the past to now is stable, but I can't leave it. Because it changes constantly, once I can maintain it, it keeps getting better and better," said Mr. Tran Minh Tung.

Mr. Tran Minh Tung, the representative of the Cần Giờ Biosphere Reserve in subdivision 3, still keeps fond memories from his youth when he went to plant forests when the country just won peace.

"My mother has been involved in afforestation since 1979. At that time, when I was young, I participated in afforestation with my mother. In the past, it was very hard to go to afforestation, but it was fun. Every year my family planted 300-400 hectares," Mr. Tung proudly shared.
