Aidan Jones is a British Indian journalist covering modern Asia, with a fascination for politics, economic inequality, crime, and environment. He was AFP news editor for China—before that held the same position for the Mekong region—and has a long experience anchoring large teams on global news stories. But at core he is an old-school reporter, who greatly values the opportunity to travel to faraway places to meet real people. He does text, photo and video, and documentary.
