Julia Knoerr
REPORTING FELLOW
Julia Knoerr is an independent journalist based in Washington, D.C., with an interest in migration, health, and environmental justice issues. She currently works on the South America team at Internews and previously served as an editorial intern for The American Prospect magazine.
A 2021 graduate of Davidson College, Knoerr completed a 2020 Campus Consortium Reporting Fellowship in Southern California, presented a Hispanic Studies honors thesis on Bolivian migration to Buenos Aires and urban memory in audiovisual mediums, and acted as editor-in-chief of The Davidsonian, Davidson's campus newspaper.
