AnuOluwapo Adelakun

AnuOluwapo Adelakun is an award-winning investigative journalist, documentary filmmaker, and policy and development researcher working on underreported issues in Nigeria. She is based in Lagos.
She pursues research and impact in the areas of corruption in public administration, policy implementation, social development, and socio-economic and environmental justice.
She is a founding member of the Women's Economic Imperative; a 2016 UNICEF Voices of Youth alumna; a 2016 Carrington Youth Fellow of the U.S. Consulate in Nigeria; and the recipient of several awards, including the 2017 U.S. Consul General Award; the 2021 Women Achievers Award by the United States Government Exchanges Alumni Association; and the 2023 Kevin Carmody Investigative Reporting Award, among others.
