Matt Grant is an investigative reporter at KXAN in Austin, Texas. His reporting helped change Texas law in 2023 to now require stricter oversight of doctors and greater transparency of discipline records. Grant has won 11 regional Emmy Awards, a National Edward R. Murrow Award, and a National Headliners Award for his investigations into widespread paper license plate fraud in Texas.
Before coming to Texas, Grant spent four years as an investigative reporter at FOX 46 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to joining FOX 46, Grant worked as an investigative and general assignment reporter for WESH in Orlando, Florida, FOX 4 in Fort Myers, Florida, and KRCG in Columbia, Missouri.
