Claudia Rosel

Claudia Rosel is a photographer, video producer, and documentary filmmaker with over seven years of international experience working across non-fiction content in complex environments.
She has produced impact-driven storytelling for major news outlets, the UN, and NGOs with reporting across migration, climate, and conflict in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Her work spans stories from human trafficking in Somalia, to deforestation in Mexico, and ocean conservation in Indonesia, grounded in ethical, people-centered storytelling
She has a deep passion for the ocean and is a certified PADI Rescue Diver, with over 100 dives in some of the world’s most thriving marine ecosystems. She is also an Overseas Press Club Scholar (2025) and a two-time Pulitzer Center Crisis Reporting grantee, and holds an MS in Documentary Filmmaking from Columbia Journalism School.
