Zach Child

HEALTH PROJECTS DIRECTOR

Zach Child currently coordinates the Pulitzer Center's outreach and special projects around global health reporting. He received a B.A. in American Studies and Spanish language from Cornell University and a master's degree in international affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.

A former Peace Corps volunteer in Cambodia, where he taught high school and trained teachers, he has also worked as a case manager and translator for a clinic serving migrant farmworkers in New Jersey and trained Peace Corps volunteers in Senegal. Most recently, he supported communications and policy research at Achieve, Inc., where he worked to promote access to quality education for students across America.
