WHERE WE REPORT

Are you or your media outlet interested in republishing any
of the stories supported by the Rainforest Journalism Fund? The Rainforest
Journalism Fund / Pulitzer Center does not hold reprint rights for the stories,
images, videos, and audio featured on its website. Here’s what you need to
know:

  • You will need the journalist’s permission for republication, since the Rainforest Journalism Fund / Pulitzer Center is not the original source of publication. Please email [email protected] to be put in touch with the relevant journalists.
  • You will need to credit the original byline holders, the original publication outlet(s), and the funding source (Rainforest Journalism Fund / Pulitzer Center). Here is our suggested language for crediting the funding source: “This story was produced with support from the Rainforest Journalism Fund
  • If the republication will be online, you will need to link to the URL of the story on the Rainforest Journalism Fund website or the original publication.

These guidelines also apply to the use of images and
multimedia content found on this website.

Please note that these guidelines for republishing stories
Rainforest Journalism Fund are not guarantees that the journalist(s) or
editor(s) of the original story will consent to republication. Our policy is to
always defer to the journalist(s) who produced the original story.
