Rising 1,801m above sea level, Gunung Inas in Kupang, Kedah is the second highest mountain in the Bintang range, Malaysia. Several villages are scattered along the northern end of the hill, including Kampung Iboi.

On July 4th, 2022, a flood that originated from Gunung Inas swept through Sungai Kupang and Kampung Iboi. It killed three and displaced more than 600 villagers. Locals said this was the most deadly flood to have happened in the area.

In this video, we investigate the origins of the issue by looking at historical data, and by visiting the site.
