Laura Scofield is a graduate of the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP) where she specialized in research on undocumented migration of Brazilians to the United States.
Scofield collaborates with OBORÉ Projetos Especiais and is former culture director of Jornalismo Júnior.
Scofield started at Agência Pública in March 2020 as an editorial intern at the politics and social networks section, and since January 2022 she has been a reporter at the climate section. Her work has been awarded by the Intercom Southeast Prize 2021 and the 12th Fernando Pacheco Jordão Young Journalist Prize 2020.
