Cat Carroll

Cat Carroll is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin, where she studied journalism, international studies, and German.
She is the 2025 recipient of the Wolff Fellowship, and a 2025 Health Journalism Fellow with the Association of Health Care Journalists. She previously served as a fellow with the Center for Journalism Ethics.
Cat hopes to pursue a career in foreign correspondence, telling stories of migration and belonging in diasporic communities. She is particularly drawn to solutions journalism, focusing on responses to social issues rather than just the problems themselves.
