Cat Carroll

Cat Carroll is a junior at the University of Wisconsin–Madison pursuing degrees in journalism and German with certificates in Middle East studies and public policy. Carroll is managing editor at The Badger Herald, an independent newspaper on the UW campus, where she has reported on mental health, refugee communities, and workers’ rights.
She is an incoming fellow at the UW Center for Journalism Ethics, and she hopes to pursue a career in foreign correspondence.
