Lusia Arumingtyas started her journalism career in 2015 with Jawa Pos in Jakarta. She currently works as a freelance journalist for Mongabay Indonesia, covering the capital city, Jakarta, and its greater areas.

She has long been passionate about environmental issues, including the climate crisis, Indigenous peoples, and deforestation.

She has been involved in several collaborative investigative projects and received a number of reporting grants, including from Internews’ Earth Journalism Network in 2019.
