Sammy Mupfuni

Sammy Mupfuni, 28, is a journalist based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He began his professional career at a local radio station in 2010 in the east of the country. In 2016 he began to take an interest in webjournalism and investigative reporting in the field of agriculture, environment and health. From 2017 he has been  collaborating with several online media including Info Congo (an Earth journalism network project dedicated to the Congo Basin), Farm radio and Politico.cd. At the beginning of 2020 he launched Congo Check Academy, a space for training and sharing good practices among journalists.
