WHERE WE REPORT

The Latin American Center for Investigative Journalism (CLIP) and six Latin American media outlets (OjoPúblico, Mongabay Latam, Repórter Brasil, Agência Pública, Verdad Abierta, and 360 Grados) are joining forces to provide an in-depth understanding of national and international actors linked to the supply chains of companies involved in timber trading and carbon markets in three countries on the Amazon basin, as irregularities in both have direct repercussions on countries’ efforts to curb deforestation and create economies that can foster conservation of much-needed ecosystems to mitigate climate change.
