Glòria Pallarès is a reporter and writer specializing in global development and the environment. She has a decade of experience with major news outlets, international organizations, forestry research centers, and think tanks. Her work draws on extensive experience in crisis and development settings in Africa, where she has worked as a media trainer and researcher, as well as an information analyst with the U.N. peacekeeping mission in South Sudan. Her work has appeared in El País, Devex, Forbes, and others. Pallarès holds a master’s degree in biology, a bachelor’s in biotechnology, and a bachelor’s in journalism. She is fluent in five languages: Spanish, English, Catalan, French, and Portuguese.
