Agricultural Fields in Rusizi Park Weaken the Banks of the Rusizi River (French)

Our project demonstrates the consequences of the decline in family farmland.
In search of water and fertile land in the Rusizi Park, farmers are digging underground wells. This cultivation weakens the banks of the Rusizi river, causing it to overflow its banks and nibble away at the park.
