Our project demonstrates the consequences of the decline in family farmland.
Farmers are taking over forest areas to create fields that are still fertile, with the complicity of forest rangers in the Monge Forest nature reserve. More than 30 years after its creation, some 2,000 hectares of the 5,000-hectare Monge reserve have already gone up in smoke.
