Roberto Navia is the founder and director of Revista Nómadas and a storyteller. For more than two decades he has traveled the world to try to raise the anonymous people of the planet to the spotlight of the visible.
His emblematic works, Tribus de la inquisición and Los colmillos de la mafia, have earned him the King of Spain Award twice (2014 and 2017); Esclavos made in Bolivia won the 2007 Ortega y Gasset award from the Spanish newspaper El País. His documentary Tribus de la Inquisición won the nomination for the Goya Awards (2018) from the Cinematografía Española. Flechas contra el asfalto and Los piratas de la madera desangran el Amboró won the International Conservation Award twice, among other national and international awards.
