Pekalongan, IDN Times - Film connoisseurs are familiar with Jurassic Park. Steven Spielberg's 127-minute feature film released in 1993. Elevating the science fiction genre, Jurassic Park successfully won three Academy Awards in 1994 for the categories for Best Visual Effects, Best Sound, and Best Sound Editing.
Many adventure scenes in Jurassic Park take place in the open air, with large towering trees, a variety of distinctive plants, and fresh air in a pristine tropical rain forest area. That environment is not dissimilar from the Petungkriyono forest in Pekalongan Regency, Central Java.
